Jacqueline Havard - Keyboard/Vocals
Music has always been a part of Jacqueline’s life, but
she never really had thought of giving it a more
serious role. With experience in school choirs and
even playing a little saxophone for a year in middle
school she moved on to college where she
participated in visiting the elderly and retirement
homes leading the groups in song. After college she
left music behind to pursue other interests, namely
writing.
During her time job seeking she was asked to find a
name for a new professional band. As luck would
have it, she creatively came up with the name
AKAThisIsUs. She was offered a job as sound
technician and web designer for the band website and
MySpace page. She was later encouraged by the
other members of the band to assist with background
vocals and keyboards, as well as dancing. And this is
where she is today. We are proud to have welcomed
Jacqueline into the AKAThisIsUs family.
